1-1 Stationary Straight Punch Position

Method of Training

  1. Jod Muay
  2. Pull the left arm up to guard at face level, leaning the body slightly towards the back right while kicking the right foot forward to enhance the punching power.
  3. Thrust a straight right punch towards the target area around the opponent’s mouth or nose.
  4. First move, thrust a straight punch forcefully using the power from the shoulder (A straight punch, without turning the palm down or up)
  5. Pull the right arm up to guard at face level, lean back slightly to the left, and simultaneously push off with the left foot to add power to the punch.
  6. Thrust a straight left punch aiming at the opponent’s mouth or nose.
  7. Second move, Thrust the straight punch forcefully using the strength from the shoulder.
