1-5 Stationary Downward Elbow Strike

Method of Training

  1. Jod Muay
  2. Lean the body slightly to the back right, while raising the right elbow above the head.
  3. First move, use the shoulder’s force to strike with the right elbow, then use the whole body’s power to drive diagonally down to the left, targeting the opponent’s mid-back or head. (The face should be within one’s own arm’s reach.)
  4. Lean the body slightly to the back left, while raising the left elbow above the head.
  5. Second move, use the shoulder’s force to strike with the left elbow, then use the entire body’s force to drive diagonally to the right, targeting the middle of the opponent’s back or head (The face should be within one’s own arm’s reach.)
