3-1 Technique for Blocking a Straight Punch by Using a Foot Block

When the opponent attacks with a straight right punch aimed at the face, in the first move, raise the left arm to guard the face, step slightly forward with the lead foot, and the opponent will open up. Then, use the right foot, which is the back foot, to thrust the toes into the target area at the solar plexus or lower abdomen, and return to Jod Muay on the left side.
When the opponent attacks with a straight left punch targeting the face, in the second move, raise the right arm to guard the face and step slightly forward with the lead foot. The opponent will expose an opening, allowing you to thrust the left foot, which is the rear foot, to strike the target area at the solar plexus or lower abdomen, then return to the Jod Muay position on the right.
